| What kinds of schools would be "impressed" by this GPA? What types of schools could I get into?3.78 is my GPAI am in the top HALF of my class 65 out of 200 (yeah I know it is kind of bad)AP Modern EuropeAll Honors classesExtra's:Modern Music HistoryPhotographyCommunications/Publisc SpeakingPublications CourseI got my work published in a Literary Art MagazineI have done over 150 hours of community serviceI attend the ProLife pilgrimages every yearRelay for life (for cancer) every yearI also work a part time job 3 days a weekSATReading: 610Writing: 600 Math: 540 I would really like to go to Pepperdine or Boston University! |

| the good thing is that you have a lot of extracurricular activities and you're in honors. the bad thing is your SAT score. if i were you, i would study study study for the SAT and retake it if you can. |

| you have good extracirrculars and your gpa is solid i would try and take more ap's and honors courses.. they look better on a colllege transcript. |

| Your GPA isn't bad. There are probably applicants with a better GPA, but you also have an impressive extra curricular activity list. That's almost more valuable than the GPA. I don't think you'll have any trouble getting into most of the schools in the country. |

| well i dont know about your SAT scores........ u should take it over again , n try to study b4 you take it!! but you have a good GPA.... i had the same in High School!!with that SAT score, you could get into a Cal State University!! |
