I recently installed 5 anti-fog security cameras in my 16 year old son's bedroom. They're surrounded by metal so they cannot be destroyed. I did it because I want him to be safe. If he ever wants to change his clothes he now asks me and I give him 3 minutes with the cameras off. If he goes over time I give him 10 more seconds before I turn the cameras back on and storm into his room. In addition, I removed his door lock and now force him to give a written report on his school work. And for his safety, I have a keylogger installed in his laptop. And every day at 8 PM I print out all of his internet conversations and browsing history and review them with him.I do a background check on every person that he wishes to meet up with.He recently complained and noted out that I'm exaggerating and need to change methods. I understandably disagreed. But now I'm asking you. What do you think?

I think you should change your name to Adolph or maybe Kim Jong. I seriously feel sorry for the poor kid and am really kind of creeped out by your methods. I'm gonna have nightmares about you. eck!

I think he's going to rebel outside the home, and hes gonna keep secrets, and find a way to do what he wants. You should ease up on him just a little, give him some freedom. But if he loses your trust punish him accordingly.

Unreal. Are you preparing him for life in prison? Never mind any problems he may have--you have serious paranoia issues. Cut him a little slack before he becomes as messed up as you are. I'm surprised he can breathe. Prepare yourself for a lonely old age--once he leaves, he'll be gone forever, and I hope he treats his own kids better.
