chocolate fountain with 4 dipping items per guest (ie mini donut, marshmallow, cube of fudge, strawberry)candy buffet1 vanilla sponge cupcake with icing per guest (our wedding cake will be a tier of cupcake)the rest of food in the buffet will be savoury...some guests will be coming after the main buffet so the chocolate fountain, cupcake and candy buffet will be the only things left to eat.nova...each guest can choose 4 dipping items from the ones i mentioned...we are having more marshmallows and strawberries as i think these will be most popular so it will be 30% marshmallow, 30% strawberry, 20% fudge cubes, 20% mini donuts.kit...i know im loving the cupcake idea...as im from the UK i dont think many of my guests will have seen a cupcake wedding cake or candy buffet so im really excited about it!

That doesn't sound like too much sweet stuff. I hope you aren't having kids there 'cause that would become a sugar-frenzy.I'm curious are you counting 4 dipping items per guest or does each person get one of each of the items you mentioned?I'm considering a fountain for my wedding, too.

We are skipping the chocolate fountain because there are no places around here that rent them and attend them as a service, but other than that we are doing the same. To get the chocolate in the wedding which is something we wanted, we chose to do a chocolate candy buffet, combining the two without the mess & cost.We are also doing the cupcake thing.. isnt that such a great alternative! We will provide little take out boxes for the chocolate candy buffet so if guests don't want to indulge right then they can at home.

whatever you want to do, it's your day. Sounds wonderful to me. I just got married a year ago so one bit of advise do everything you have ever wanted to do cause you can't go back and relive the day. Don't let others rule your day.

We are also having all the things you listed. Our caterer does an awesome chocolate fountain with tons of toppings, and we are doing the candy station for our guests to take home as favors. The cupcakes in place of a wedding cake. I wouldn't have all of this plus a wedding cake, more than likely your guests will go for the other sweets and you'll have a huge wedding cake left over. So go for it, it sounds great!
