I'm getting married next June and I have some ideas about what i want. The theme is fairytales. I'm doing different favors for different fairytales Like:Snow whitehttp://www.weddingstyle.ca/detailview/Favor%20apple%20of%20my%20eye.JPGSwan princesshttp://www.miamiweddingfavors.com/Images/swan-transparent-large.jpgBellehttp://www.hotref.com/category/21/pewter-callalily-mirror-wedding-favors_2148_r.jpgCinderellahttp://www.favorsbyserendipity.com/main_images/cinderella_slipper_out_of_box.jpgDo you like the idea? Are there other fairytale that can be included and what favor can i use to represent it?And please don't go off saying how childish or whatever-- I want helpful opinions!haha lol my birthday is actually on the 22nd of june too, but we're getting married on the 27!well i guess my culture is more accepting of any kind of favor. (i.e. we keep them as a memory) and as for the men i'm not going to change my theme because they wouldn't like the girlie favor. The favors are going to be on a table and the guests get to pick which one they want. The favors are supposed to be something to cherish and remember our wedding not necessary to be used the moment they get home. I guess some people expect a lot more when they are invited to a wedding then just a boring, unusable favor! SORRY!

I think people would get the most use out of the snow white one.

You're not going to think my opinion is all that "helpful" and I'm sorry:These favors are your classic dust-collectors. They all look fabulous, and I'm sure they'll cost you a pretty penny (consider one favor for each guest, and how much each of these cost) but what are your guests going to do with them after your wedding? Their houses are most likely not done in a "fairy tale" theme, and if they have children these gifts are too fragile to give them. And these are all "girly" items....what about the guys?Food is usually the best favors...could you think of one item that you could relate to every fairy tale?

I don't think I would give all four to each guest. I would probably do snow white and maybe the swan princess. I would omit the other two for a couple of reasons. One, remember your guests have to carry them all home. Two, most of them will find their way into the trash. I think people would use the candle and would nibble on the mints in the swan or you could do mints in the slipper. I honestly think most people will just throw them away so I wouldn' spend a lot of money or time on them. The only one I think at least some people would use is the candle. Please don't take this personally. Most favors get thrown away. We did chocolate stars in a white box with our names on them and our reception card graphic and a cookbook that was compiled of our guests favorite recipes, some of our recipes and cooking information. We used the graphic from our invitation and called it Cooking Under the Stars. It was such a big hit that we had to do a second printing because people not invited to the wedding wanted one and some people wanted one for their friends. So, unless it's something that will be used, I wouldn't invest a lot of money in your favors.

Hmm..could you find edible favors that coincide with the princesses? If you are doing mostly Disney themed princesses, I would forgo the Swan Princess and maybe do Arielle with a little sand castle or something. I just don't care for the glass swan for some reason. You could even do one for the newest fairytale - Enchanted..but I can't think of what a good favor would be. At any rate, I LOVE the idea, its super cute, if they were edible and not throwaways.

It could really go either way. You are assuming that people will "get" that the apple is from Snow White, the slipper is Cinderella, etc. This could be a nice conversation started amongst your guests at the table - a way to break the ice as they try to figure out what the favors are.Or, they could look kinda weird and mismatched when placed all together in a bunch somewhere on the table. It might look "off" if you place one in front of each plate as well.If you really want to do this then buy two of each and make a mock table and include all of your linens and centerpiece and dishware and then play around with placement to get the right look.I do agree that the swan princess is odd to have in there, it's not part of the rest of the Disney lineup you have. You could throw in Sleeping Beauty or Ariel.

Honestly, if it were me, I would pick 1-2 of those favors. They are probably really expensive and you are going to have to order enough of each one in case the guests decide they all like the same one. They are all very beautiful but to help you save a little, I would do it that way. I think the bag with the mirror on it would be the best one. You could put little canides in it...that way, the favor would be great for both men and women!

I 100% agree with Just tryin to help. Unfortunatly most people will stick these in a drawer or throw them away. Maybe your mom and sister will sit these things out, but how many people are going to want these things sitting out in their house. As cute as they may be, they aren't really going to match with alot of peoples decor of their house, which means they get thrown somewhere out of the way (in a drawer, or the trash)
