My fiance and I are getting married in August but we can't find a song for our 1st Dance. I like punk, emo, folk, accoustic music and he likes hip hop and R&B so please give me some suggestions. PLEASE NOTHING CHEESY! We want something newer so please don't suggest really old songs.Our favorite song is guardian angel by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus but it is soooooo slow that it will be hard to dance to so anything with that kind of sound would be perfect!

Yea I know how you feel I love rock music like radiohead,muse,primus, smashing pumpkins etc I hate anything completely cheesy, and most love songs are and if they are not its about being dumped or something lolWell if you like certain films/movies you both enjoyed, you could use the soundtracke.g. star dust - "Rule the world" its not soo cheesy and not slow and sloppy or sexualhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=A8ClzqUq9kgor If your going on a far away honeymoon spot, how about playing a song related to that part. e.g. if your going to Rome, put on some Italian music.....then its more of a celebratory dance to where your going rather than a sloppy love song where all your family and friends are watching you

hmm... Just listened to that song - it doesn't sound too slow to me. I just recently found a great folk song (little old) but very pretty.
