| I think it's different for different religions but I think you could really do it however you want --in general with the groom arriving last before the bride. |

| My understanding is it goes by how the people are standing at the front. For instance.BM1 BM2 Bride Groom GM2 GM1Okay, BM stands for Brides Maid ( NOT anything else ;o) and GM stands for groomsmen. Here is the order:BM1 and GM1BM2 and BM2ring bearerflower girlBride and fatherand ofcourse the groom is already at the aulter. |

I have seen it done many different ways, but here is how I did mine; we had the groom/bestman/groomsmen walk into the church from the side door with the pastor and take their place at the altar. Then we had the bridesmaids, maid of honor and lastly the flowergirl walk down the aisle. Then of course, the bride |

| the groom and men walk in with the pastor, in most cases, the mother of the groom is walked in, then mother of the bride, the maids start, the Jr's maids first, if you have any then the Sr maids, the maid of honor then the matron of honor if any, then the flower girl, ring bearer, the two can walk side by side your choice, and then if you have a mini bride and groom they come in, then in all your glory you step down the alise. enjoy your day bless you |

| In our case it went like this:First my husband walked down the aisle with his mom... then the Matron of honor and the best man... then the witnesses... then the ring kids... then the flower girl, the bridesmaid... and finally me and my dad.We had a lovely song about the meaning of love all the way for the entrance until i was going to came in the played the nuptial march... best wishes! |

| You can really do it however you want, but I believe that most traditional way is something like this:Parents of the BrideParents of the GroomBridesmaids (Guys are traditionally all standing at the front before the processional starts)Ring BearerFlower GirlBride. If you're having an aisle runner, you can do it at the very beginning, or have ushers or groomsmen roll it out after the bridesmaids, but before the flower girl. If you do it in the middle, essentially, the rule is that other than the flower girl, the bride should be the only one to walk on it.In my case, we had the groomsmen escort our grandmothers before the parents walked down the aisle, but, as I said, traditionally they don't actually walk down the aisle, they and the minister are all up at the front before the processional starts.Hope this helps! |

Several of the answers are correct already, I am just confirming! As a violinist who has played in weddings for 7 years, this is the traditional way:After the grandparents (typically escorted by groomsmen), mother and father of the groom, and mother of the bride (typically the groom walks in both mothers) are escorted in, the procession can then start.1) The pastor/groom/groomsmen walk in (from the side or down the aisle if you'd like). In my wedding, just the pastor/groom/best man stood at the front and the groomsmen walked in with the bridesmaids. You can either have all the bridesmaids walk in alone and the groomsmen are already at the front, or have both bridesmaids and groomsmen walk in together. Either way, the maid of honor always walks in alone.2) Bridesmaids (optionally escorted by groomsmen)3) Maid of Honor walks in alone4) Flower Girl and Ring Bearer come in last before the bride5) Entrance of the Bride, usually escorted by her fatherHope this helps! |

| The groom and groomsmen don't walk down the center aisle. They enter at the front of the church or a side aisle if there's no way to enter from the front. The rest of the order is.... bridesmaids, MOH, ring bearer, flower girl, bride. |
