Wild flowers and spring flowers can be planted out now. The soil temperature will be warm enough for them to germinate. Make sure you keep the soil where you plant them moist. Most wild flowers are tolerant of freezing -- they live outdoors all year!

nah...we've already put flowers out, and our tulips have already bloomed. i don't think the lower temp will have any major effect on them.

I wouldnt say so, but it depends what you want to grow. This blog has loads of tips of the types of plants to plant and when, which i found useful when i first moved into my house and started planting. Also there are plant descriptions which tell you when and where are the best places to plant each one. http://blog.bloomingdirect.com/noddys-gardening-plot-april

It looks like you might get a bit of a freeze this coming friday. If it dips below freezing they will die.

Plunk your wildflowers down on the ground, they won't like being in pots. Too constrictive, too dry.Look up your zone and "last chance of freeze" here: http://www.almanac.com/happy gardening
