Red or White roses. If it's around Christmas of course you may use Poinsettias.

i suppose you could use pointsettias, they're associated with winter. And then, there's plants like holly. You could also look into evergreen plants i guess....

I was a wedding coordinator. One of the winter weddings I did Had the bride wearing a white velvet hooded dress, the most beautiful gown I have ever seen, She wore short white leather gloves and carried a fur muff on which were placed a spray of white orchids mixed with tiny gold leaves and interspersed with tiny gold Christmas lights. The brides maids wore Christmas red velvet dresses and carried white fur muffs on which were placed red poinsettia. It was an evening wedding, therefore formal The men wore white tie and tails with sprays of Christmas holly in their lapels trimmed with pine. The Church was decorated with candles and large baskets of poinsettias and Christmas holly. I've done quite a few weddings but that was one of the most beautiful and luxurious I had done.

amaryllis are popular. i think white hydrangeas would be lovely, they are like snowballs. for our winter wedding, i used white and green dendrobium orchids, white roses and black calla liles. it wasn't a winter theme though.hydrangeashttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Hydrangea-heads-pale.pngamaryllishttp://www.schd.com/images/products/1311_AMARYLLIS_RED.jpgdendrobium orchidshttp://www.stevensandson.com/cuts/tropical/images/Orchid_Dendrobium_White.jpgcalla lilieshttp://www.flowers.pacificcallas.com/callalilyflowersblack.jpg

Im not a genious when it comes to flowers but here is some pics and sites I found, I think you need to know what flowers are available to you then choose your coloursRed and cream is a typical obvious choice but at the same time it does look good for a winter wedding, but check out these if your not keen on redhttp://www.wedding-dresses-gowns.com/articles/winter_flowers.htmlhttp://www.flower-arrangement-advisor.com/images/winterbq1.jpghttp://www.flowerscent.com.au/photos/Winter%20Wedding%20Boquet.jpghttp://www.peacockson37th.net/weddings/bouq12.jpghttp://nymag.com/images/2/guides/weddings/2006winter/planner/loft/tribecaroof_500.jpg

http://community.theknot.com/cs/ks/user/page.aspx?username=winterbio2Check out this knot bio at site above for ideas. It has some really lovely winter wedding photos. Lots of floral and decor ideas too. Takes a minute to load, so please be patient. It is worth the wait.

I'm not exactly sure what flowers are most prominent in the winter, but I WOULD NOT recommend roses. They are very rare to find in the winter, and if you can find them, they will be extremely pricey. They usually die off after the first frost of the year, so I would stick with a flower that thrives most in winter. Definitely a red color. That would look beautiful.

If you're not going for a "Christmassy" feel but more "Wintery", try ice blue and silver with snowflake accessoriesWhite lilies, calla lilies, babies breath, white hydrangea, roseshttp://www.flickr.com/photos/capturedsoulphotography/2349916490/http://www.flickr.com/photos/20064298@N04/2253527857/http://www.bloomeryweddings.com/blog/images/heinzchapel1.jpghttp://www.flowersgrowing.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/cascade-bridal-bouquet.jpghttp://www.myweddingflowerideas.co.uk/wedding_flowers_english/wedding_flower_picture_ec6e.jpghttp://www.wilton.com/images/recipes/snowflakedance_sm.jpghttp://www.knotforlife.com/images/cakes/winter-snowflake-cake.jpghttp://www.flickr.com/photos/turchinphotography/2146477788/in/set-72157601845804615/http://www.flickr.com/photos/teamnet/2395715397/http://www.flickr.com/photos/hillsideconsultantsinc/858901960/http://www.cybernetplaza.com/images/itempics/p116_silver.jpghttp://www.princessbridetiaras.com/newsite/pbt_products/Images/leftmodelclose700.jpgbest wishes...................
