| Ok im trying to switch my period to a week before my wedding by skipping my period ( by not taking my pink pills * suger pills * ) So as soon as i switched to the next pack of white pills i had spotting and it was brownish. And its been light this last 4 days... now im starting to get more a redish color and my period should be ending!!! I know sometimes you can bleed through but... ?! Im confused! Ive been on the pill since late feb.. |

| this is called 'breakthrough bleeding' - - its very common when you are just starting the pill as well as changing it around as you are.Don't panic.When is your wedding? If it is more than a month or two down the road, your system should be back to normal by then. |

| it's going to be like a 2nd period. first it's brownish for a few days... then it's red for the next 4-5 days too... well good luck |

| Alot of times it depends on the type of BC you are on. I was ahving the same problem and then my doctor changed mine to a BC with more hormones in it and has been great. Don't panic this problem usually resolves itself. |

| When you first start taking the pill round the clock, you'll have spotting that can last for a week or two. It may not get your period to start a week early as your body is set for the time that you have your period. |

| I tried the same thing and spotted for about a week. it was EXTREMELY light, but definitely still there. It's normal, your body "wants" to have your period, so it's your body's way of telling you. I wouldn't worry unless it continues for over a week. |

| Go talk to your gynecologist or doctor. Messing with your hormones is not a great thing to do. |

| i dont know i did that and i didnt have a period at all the week. I'm going to do the same again on my honeymoon (no pms for me..hahaha) It probably just depends on the birth control. I bet you'll be back to normal soon. |

| As soon as you start bleeding stop with the hormone pill otherwise the bleeding will continue (at least it will with me - When I tried I bled for 9 days then called doc who told me this) .Chances are you have a light pill and strong hormones. I have the same. My cycle will not change to suit me and I will start bleeding when my body feels like it. It is almost as if it says Well you don't want to be pregnant That is fine but I'll take charge of the cleaning. Deal with it.So I deal with it. |
