Can you guys give me your honest opinion on my Wedding Photography and my entire site in general please? also do you think my prices are too high for my level of skill or too low at that? also note for the prices they include full color correction and printing at a very high quality lab...so I am charging an average of $150/hr...the rest is for the prints and I only charge what I pay for prints to the brides...I fixed some thing since I asked this yesterday and want to know how you like it better. If you answered yesterday also please say so and what you like better or worse. ThanksHere is my home page:http://www.marmionphotography.com/Here is my portfolio:http://www.marmionphotography.com/Marmio...andhttp://www.marmionphotography.com/Marmio...and last my prices:http://www.marmionphotography.com/Marmio...Thanks so much...I am located in Baltimore, MD.

I am a photographer too, so I know a little about the field, although I work in the UK. $150/hr is slightly more than I charge. I normally charge £400 ($800) per session (up to 5 hours). My clients get to have 600+ photos, all touched up and burned to CD.Your site is nice, though it seems to take a lot of bandwidth to load up each page. Your photos are nice, though I'm not about to sugar-coat it; I have seen better quality on other sites. The field is very competitive, so you may have to up your game to be able to charge a higher bracket. You seem fairly new to this (forgive me if you're not), but generally I think you're doing a good job.Have a look at my site for another example - http://www.eloisefifield.co.uk/page3.htm

Pricing depends on the are you are located in. California is going to be priced a lot different then south Dakota. Also it take a long time for the pages to load which can be a deterrent for potential clients. The quality of photos aren't that great, it doesn't seem like there is any difference to the pics, lighting, color, hues, and the poses are all the same and not unique. To get more clients you HAVE to stand out and show that you have something more to offer. If you are just starting out the photos are OK but needs lots of practice.Good luck, keep shooting.

Your site seems slow and that would turn me off. I would be too impatient trying to look at photos. I do like the fact that you have the chubby couple on the opening page. I got so sick of seeing perfect brides. i want to see how photographers make real brides look. Your photography is ok, but not fabulous for a professional. I think you need to study composition and set the photos up better. That is really important. $150 an hour would be $1200 for 8 hours. That is too expensive for this level of photography. Lower your prices until you are more experienced.

I answered the other day.Unlike other posters, I had no problems viewing the albums. They were not slow.Your home page is much improved! I like how you removed the stars and replaced them with the simple menu at the top. If I were you, I would change the "marmionphotography.com" at the top from Comic Sans to a font more in tune to the rest of the site... Im *into* fonts so I notice stuff like that! Comic Sans is cute, but its not a professional-looking font. The contact page is short and sweet. I like that.

I did not see the first post of yours, but I like what I see! I had no problem at all with the speed of looking at the pics. It all loaded pretty fast for me! I love how you get pics of the back of the wedding dress, which is important to me because my dress is very ornate. All of the other links did not work for me though, just the first one. It seems that the other posters are professionals, but by me being a consumer, I think it looks great! If I lived where you are, I would be contacting you! The only suggestion I have is maybe think of different poses or ask your clients if they want any special ones done. I have ideas of special pics I want taken. As for the price, it sounds a lot more inexpensive than what I have run into here(Illinois).
