| im in a photography class and i need to take some night pictures. im using black and white film and idk what else to tell you thats special. but i mainly could use some ideas of what to take pictures of. i want some cool ones, not just pictures of lights like everybody else does. know what im saying? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks.a tripod would be nice but we don't get those.haha. and we only have regular 50mm lenses on them too.a tripod would be nice but we don't get those.haha. and we only have regular 50mm lenses on them too. |

| Use a good sturdy tripod and shoot in the downtown area of your city and use very long exposures. If you have a wide angle lens, use it.Look for nice geometric designs in the subject and then shoot your assignment. |

Use ISO 3200 film and shoot with your lens at its maximum aperture (f1.7 or 1. . While shooting sit on the ground with your back against a wall and take pictures of passersby from that angle. A wheelchair might work but you'd have to rent it.Or...Again using 3200 film, set your aperture at f5.6 and your shutter speed per the meter. Now walk around with the camera hanging around your neck (you might want to use a Bungee cord to hold the camera tight against your body) and use a cable release to trip the shutter. People will never know that you photographed them. Be discreet when you advance the film. |
