Why not Panama, everything is cheap and good (even it becomes more expensive to locals)

marriage on the beach is illegal in most resorts of the dominican republic. some resorts will arrange an in-resort marriage in one of the hotels but mostly you would have to be staying there. speak to your travel agent. most travel companies have a wedding consultant in resort and as the dominican republic is very popular for weddings they are bound to have one there. do some research before you go as there are documents you HAVE to take with you or the marriage will not be legal in DR or UK and certain conditions must be met i.e. certain interpreters being used for the documents translation etc. try www.dr1.com it's full of information on the Dominican Republic for ex-pats and visitors.Good Luck and Congrats!
