| Why do I change my mind so much? Does anyone know? I am so weird! One second I'll want to go to school and get a degree, literally the next two days I don't care to do it anymore. One day I'll decide to start planning my wedding, then a week later I'll think it's just stupid because marriage is just a piece of paper and I'll just forget it! One day I'll decide to start having kids, then I'll decide it's not the right time! Am I supposed to act on these impulses? Or are they just going to make me unhappy? Whenever I start thinking and planning, I never finish through! Even if it seems like a good idea at the time. I've noticed that I do this with everything, what car/food/house to buy! And other things to, like I'll really, really want to adopt a pet, then within a week I don't care to adopt a pet because I come up with all these reasons why I shouldn't and the same thing with going to visit friends, going out, and even simple things like making a phone call.Ive been putting off things and waiting until the last minute in order to avoid talking myself out of a decision but I like things planned out and I hate waiting! So maybe I just work well under pressure? Or maybe I need some advice on how to stop doing this. |

| It sounds as though you don't really know what you want, so you think a thing, that isn't really what you want, and days later go off the idea.Instead of grasping at straws, slow down and stop deciding to do this or that thing for no reason.You don't say what you're doing now. Are you in school?Are you engaged? If so, do you want to marry this person? If you don't, then you need to deal with that.You might consider professional help. Someone with experience might be able to help you figure out what you actually DO want to do, and what's stopping you. |
