Hello, All! I’m just starting out in wedding photography business and need a wedding to shoot. Don’t worry , I already have some portfolio for you to look at but I have not done an actual wedding yet. I have some wedding dress, ring shots and other detail shot though. And no, I’m not someone that just got a camera and just want to test it out, I already know how to work the cameras pretty well and you are rest assured my equipments are the same as the pro photographers that charge $$$. Yes, I carry a backup camera and my lens are able to capture in low light. Good for church that prohibits flash use. Anyway, I will be giving it to 1 lucky couple-I will be choosing at a random. I actually booked a wedding already and this one is not for free but the bride hired me because she saw my portfolio and believe that I will do a great job on her wedding. Anyway, I can’t wait for this wedding since it will be months from now and I need a wedding portfolio now. Message me for more details oThanks for the fast answer everyone. I didn't realize my message was cut off. Anyway, here are the rest.---------Message me for more details on what I will do on your wedding. Rest assured I will capture your wedding just like a pro photographer but you keep you money on your pocket. Thanks!Located in Bay Area California.---Thanks Linda for the tips! Thanks for the offer even though your event was already finished. Yeah, June I've heard is the busiest month.---- maddog malone, thanks for t input. Before I started I was planning to work with a pro photographer but since not many pro photographer will hire you seeing you as a competition in the future. I decided to just go at it. Like I mentioned I have one client but her wedding is in August and I need a wedding portfolio now. I'm already familiar with low light photographer, wb, exposure, lightning and basically just about everything I can learn from dvd, books, forums and actual events though not wedding yet. Anywho, I'm actually a member of many wedding photography forums and many people suggested either learn from a pro or just go at it and I choose the later and actually this will be lively hood. I'm very serious about it, I know you can't mess up a wedding because you can't do it again once it is done.I'm actually teaching someone to become my second photographer as well. I prefer to shoot on manual mode for better control and uses pro quality lens not kit lenses where you will have distortions and focusing issues in low light condition especially inside a church. The reason I'm getting in the business was that I wasn't happy with the quality of my own wedding photos. The photographer although wasn't bad in fact he was average was using kit lens and he messed up the church shots and reception shots because of the kits lens. His charge wasn't so bad as well but I can do better. You can't substitute a pro lens for a good flash. He had a $1500 flash -a quantum flash and only using a $200 lens. I know some people will say having good equipments doesn't make you a good photographer but if you are getting in a wedding photography business you got to have all your cards right and get the right equipments... Anyway, thanks all I do hope to find someone that I can shoot. I'm well prepared.

I worked as a wedding photographer in the past and if you don't have any experience in shooting an actual wedding then NOBODY will ever hire you. In this business you need to start out learning by working as a lightman from a seasoned pro. Shooting weddings are known as photographers pergatory because they are pure hell. Find another livelyhood is my best advise.

Hi, you might want to place an ad in Craigslist for your area. I'm sure someone would be very happy to have your photography services. It also might help you get more responses, with it being local. Good luck with your new career.
