I would say a red flower. Maybe just a single red rose with a ribbon tied around it

Red roses..they're plain and ordinary, but really beautiful against both ivory and black. Also, it would look good with the red carpet in the church. Because the carpet is red, your choices are limited because it could clash. Also, Calla Lillies are pretty with both ivory and black.

Hot pink roses would really show up against that black. So would tea rose yellow. I saw a bouquet that had one of each color of rose, pink, red, yellow, melon, orange, etc., and it was gorgeous. Also saw one that had all shades of orange, really pretty, too. Trying to remember where I saw them, might have been Martha Stewart. I'd go with the pink, if it were me, that is stylish right now.

Your wedding theme is elegant but also classic why not champagne roses with greenery around it , it will just "pop" against the crisp black of your theme and match your gown.

Really, any color would work. White or ivory roses would be lovely, or you could use pink roses or peonies.

http://www.links2love.com/weddings/make_bouquet_white_black_wedding.htmok I made it myself but I think you can get the picture I'm not sure what it will look like when you get there if it will be arranged the way I did it but I have the bridesmaids holding the white roses and bride holding pink and white mixed you could have the bridesmaids only carry a single long stem white rose and you a dozen either all white or white and pink (or yellow) mixed

Calla lilies for the bridesmaids, (white ones) and possibly red/maroon ones for you. I know you said no red but I think that if only you carried a bouquet of red roses, it would really standout. Or you could do any other color really. i just don't know how white callas would look against your dress

Roses are classy and available in any colour of the rainbow. If you have only roses really tightly bunched it can look really formal but if you loosen up the bouquets and scatter greenery and filler flowers throughout the bouquets it can look more relaxed.I would choose a bright colour that you like and have that colour rose as the base for your bouquet while having white r ivory as the base of the bouquets for your bridesmaids. For example you could have hot pink roses in your bouquet with a few ivory buds scattered through and your bridesmaids could have ivory roses with a few hot pink roses scattered through.Another thought is to mix flower types like roses and tulips or orchids or gerberas. If you like gerberas you could get ivory roses to make the basic shape of your bouquet and scatter multi-coloured gerberas through.Because your bridal pary is in black and white you need colour to come in through your flowers.Another option would be for each of your bridesmaids to carry a different colour bouquet of the same flowers and for yours to be a mix of those colours with ivory or white.Eg MOH has blue bouquet, BM1 has yellow bouquet, BM2 has pink bouquet and you have ivory bouquet with blue, yellow and pink flowers scattered through as highlights with grennery scattered through to break it up and make it less formal.

I just saw a beautiful bouquet the other day on the ProFlowers magazine. It consisted of hot pink roses with white calla lilies. Calla Lilies are one of my favorite flowers and can make simple but elegant arrangements. Carnations are really cheap. I think you should go with Hot Pink or Dark Pink flowers. This color really stands out when it is put against black or white. My theme would be different shades of pink . congratulations on your wedding ( :

my bouquet is calla lilies and roses. you can get these in virtually any color. my dress is ivory and gold, so i am getting mini calla lilies in cream, roses in cream, and petite roses in a dark red, then baby's breath to fill in. these flowers are also available all year round, so it won't be seasonal!
