I am making the centerpiece for the head table at my brothers wedding he is having a black and white wedding, with red accents. I was wondering if anyone had any pics they could share or websites i could check out. They want candles and flowers or just flowers dosen't matter as long as it is pretty.

we had a long glass cylander vase (provided by our country club) and we had red glass beads in the bottom, a single rose in the beads, and totally submerged in water, with a floating candle, lit..it was beautiful

I don't have a pic, but take a huricane vase out a tall pillar candle in (white or red) and then put rose petals in the vase (use the opposite color of the candle and fill about half way up the candle) You can also tie ribbon around the vase as an accent.

I have a simple idea - Sorry I didn't get this idea from a website so I don't have a link for you...A clear glass hurricane with a candle at the bottom, placed on a mirror tile. You could do the shiny black rocks as a base for the candle and paint red hearts or ribbons (or whatever) on the hurricane. The mirror will reflect the centerpieces and make them appear larger, and give off twice as much light. And people could take them when they go home if you don't want to keep them.

Here are a few ideas that you can use. They aren't all black and white, but you can change the colors around. Just keep it simple and it will be elegant. Good luck :)http://memorymakerslb.com/images/768288945403_0_BG.jpghttp://www.myexquisitedetails.com/images/Full_Shot_of_Head_Table_Centerpiece.jpghttp://www.janellasinvitations.com/6-17-06%20Head%20Table%20Decor%20pic%202.JPGhttp://tgis.wetserver.net/liveimages/reception_photo_1.jpghttp://www.untouchablecrafts.com/files/1971451/uploaded/01010040.JPGhttp://heidiologies.com/wedding/planning/headtable1.jpghttp://www.fantasticinflations.com/images/bridal6.jpghttp://images.snapfish.com/344%3C364%3B23232%7Ffp3%3B%3Dot%3E2323%3D:%3B9%3D338%3D3232:%3B9247466nu0mrjhttp://www.eventdecorbykristin.com/work__play_040.jpghttp://www.eventdecorbykristin.com/weddings_235.jpghttp://www.dagnall.net/media/blog/jud-060625-5383.jpghttp://ido-weddingflowers.com/RENTALS/head%20table%20screen_9033.jpghttp://5starcatering.com/cakes/pics/pics/240decorations.jpghttp://www.decorelegance.net/images/Img4.gifhttp://www.onesourceweddings.net/receptiondecor/Maxwell-HeadTable-Evening2.jpghttp://www.cloud9balloon.com/images/head%20table%20lights.jpghttp://www.weddingsfromabove.ca/images/decor/HaltonMuseumHeadTable.jpg

How about long-stemmed red roses scattered across some kind of black fabric (velvet or satin) down the middle of the table? You'd have to keep the roses in water until just before the reception, but it might work. I also like this idea (see the link below), black branches in a vase, you wouldn't have to use the lanterns (unless your brother and his fiancee like Asian stuff, in which case it might be cute!), but maybe string the branches with all-red string lights, or hang some other kind of red ornaments or baubles from the branches. Good luck!

I would just do something very simple. Are they round or square tables? Either way a plain white table cloth with a black table runner and red roses in the centre with small tealight candles scatered inbetween or around the flowers.Sort of like this....http://www.focusdiy.co.uk/content/ebiz/focus/page/silvertabletop/hhchr0716.jpgor this...http://www.knotforlife.com/images/decorations/black-white-table.jpgBut with a touch of red like this...http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/11S1wphOYPL._AA160_.jpgor this...http://www.antiqueroseflowers.com/kisses.jpgor this...http://www.blossomshopcc.com/uploads/BSF/tcart/dozpave.jpgor this (without the bear of course!)...http://www.flowersdirect.co.uk/products/VAL14.jpg

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
Wedding Food
Wedding food can take a huge chunk out of your wedding budget.
Wedding Cake
Your wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. It is a scrumptious dessert as well as part of a tradition
Wedding Party
The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
