My wedding is going to be in October. I don't want to have orange as my main color. I want my wedding to be elegant, clean and fun. I want people to walk into my wedding and say look at all the amazing beautiful flowers. Please help!! I am hoping to get comments back, on great sites I can find floral arragements and helping me find my wedding colors. PS-colors i like- green, white, reds, pink, gold, silver, black, brown. O and I am having a garden wedding

Brown and gold I think could be done to look very elegant. Can't help too much with the wedding sites, but I think those colors would be perfect for a fall wedding!

I think either pink and brown or green and brown would be gorgeous together as long as you don't make the colors too vibrant.... just remember to pick the right shade for the fall coloring and it will be gorgeous!!!

the palest peach to the deepest burnt orange, and oranges work beautifully for an autumn wedding, adding a deeply romantic and festive aura that's absolutely in season. For an evening wedding, try elegant peach roses. For a daytime affair, orange wildflowers such as orange blossoms (which happen to be the most affordable in the fall), day lilies, aster and African daises work well. Consider wrapping the flowers in twine or velvet bows, depending on the tone you want to project. Tangerine-colored roses and tulips are also excellent choices. There are many creative ways to stay true to the season and idea of autumn harvest, such as adding varying shades of orange candles on tabletops, or bowls of seasonal fruit such as pomegranates and miniature pumpkins. Consider laying small, frameless mirrors on the tabletops, with candles of various sizes placed upon them. The reflecting light is spectacular, especially at an evening reception. If you love a particular color that you feel isn't autumn in flavor, you can still use it -- just don't saturate your day in it. A simple treatment like a vintage ribbon tied around each napkin can make a table feel like you thought of everything. For a softer feel, think ivory and gold accents against your favorite jewel tone. If you don't have room in your budget for a lot of flowers, candles can fill the space and petals can add the fragrance. You can also wrap votives in sheer fabric to add color and style. A beautiful combination that is seen in everything from home decor to fashion runways is rich browns paired with purples, such as eggplant and grape. To accentuate the muted natural look, use other accents that suggest nature. Wrap wedding bouquets with fabric ribbon, tulle or raffia (leaf fibers from a palm tree, used to make baskets and other crafts.)

Why not go for green and brown with touches of red in the flowers and accents? That would look great in a garden, and you can mix branches or pheasant feathers in with the floral arrangements. I'd stick to gold for the metal, though. It'll look better with those colors in the fall.I'm doing October too, my gown is ivory with champagne and gold accents, and our colors are brown and gold. My flowers will be terracotta roses, a great rust-red color. It was harder to find a gold-toned tiara that I liked, but I managed.

Check out websites like theknot.com, they have lots of pictures that you can get ideas from (as well as vendor listings)If I remember correctly, you can even choose what the dominant color of the wedding is and see pictures from weddings that fall into that color category. Something else to consider too is what color flowers will already be in the garden you are getting married in, you want to make sure that your colors will compliment the existing "decor"

My Fall wedding was Chocolate and Copper.... I know you dont want orange so try chocolate and gold! Or chocolate and Pink that would be really pretty for a garden wedding! The pink would keep things light because of the garden theme and the chocolate would add a touch of fall!
