| I've heard 4 to 6 weeks before. I'm having a destination wedding so I do plan to send them a little sooner. |

| My wedding is November 22 and I will probably send them out late August, I want to give my guests plenty of notice and lots of time to RSVP. Plus I am really excited about sending them and can't wait to so I am doing it a bit earlier than usual. I personally think 12 weeks is good because it gives lots of time. I think it is crazy to send them out like only 6 weeks before hand as some people do. I don't agree with 7 1/2 weeks, I would do it sooner. Don't let the women at the invitation store dictate when you send them, do it when you want. |

| I would go with your planners because it involves a holiday weekened.Normally, I would say 8 weeks is the max, which is close enough to 7 1/2 as the invitation store workers said.I am purposely planning for about 9 - 10 weeks because of the deadlines I have from my venue and I have international guests that I want to be sure have plenty of time to RSVP, including time in the mail.Are you sending save-the-dates as well as invites? If you are, and your deadlines permit, 8 weeks is fine as your guests have had plenty of notice. |
