| Ive posted alot of places but none really seem to be getting any business. You I let them known im a student and really cheap wedding photographer but still nothing. Can any one help a straving Artist. |

| Try Craigslist and I'm sure there are local papers (kind of like the Thrifty Nickel, but the TN charges, I believe) that don't charge for advertising. Post flyers around your local college bulletins and such. There are restaurants who will let you put your business cards by their cash registers. There are all sorts of nifty ideas, you just have to think outside of the box. |

| I post my wedding flower business on craigslist and get quite alot of attention. You need to be sure to add lots of examples of your work, a good discription of what you do and your rates. Maybe try overing a special discount for anyone that mentions seeing that add. Cheap also is not the right word, try using terms like "Can work with your budget" or "Affordable" cheap tends to sound exactly that. Cheap. good luck! |

| Maybe go around to some of the local places where the wedding and receptions are held and let them know what you do and see if they will pass along your info. When I got married that's how we found a lot of the people who did our wedding. Good luck |

| I don't know if they charge anything, but The Perfect Wedding Guide is a website I look at quite often. And yes, have a webpage with examples. I usually ignore any vendors that don't have a webpage to look at. |

| i started out by taking some of my pics and making a myspace for them.. before i new it i had tones of teenagers messaging me to take their sr. pics.. and then ppl would call me to do their weddings or childs first communion...it really helps get you noticed |

| - craigslist- myspace- having a website with your photo's is a plus so they can see your work or at least photobucket or something or that type- flyer bomb at local wedding conventions and near a wedding dress shop (i.e. they're annoying but leave a flyer on car windshields)- ask bakeries to have your card out at the register or post your ad in their store- post your website/info/card on bulletin boards around town |
