took pictures with my father at the hospital the day of my wedding because he was admitted the night before. I grab one of the table cameras from the wedding so that we can take pictures with him. I took the film to be developed and the film is split, they told me it couldn't be repaired. I need to get some more opinions, maybe from someone in the photography field. These pictures are very priceless to me, because 20 days after the wedding my father passed away. These are the last pictures I have of us together.

Providing the film has been developed i see no problem with getting prints. It is highly unlikely the film has split length wise.I would ask the process lab if they have exposed it to white light, if they have then there is nothing that can be done.If it has been developed then ask them to hand print them, most placed do not like doing this as it is time consuming, if you explain to them what the pictures mean to you they may be helpful.I hope this is of help to you.

Did they process the film? Is the film split down the middle of the strip? I have seen this before with disposable cameras. If they processed the film, you do have an option available, although it can be somewhat pricey. What I would suggest is to take the film to a place that does high resolution film scanning and have them scan the frames of the film, either separately or together with split portions as close together as possible and then have them digitally restore the split line together, then burn those files to cd so that you could still print them just like negatives. It is not always possible to make it perfect, but that is a good thing to try for really special items.

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...

The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
