I had this freaky dream, and I can't understand it. I was In a basketball/school gym with all the lights off except a few, and in there was an african styled/looking wedding that I took part in. I was kinda like a flower girl except I had lace instead of flowers. I felt like as if I was 7, really. In the seats that all school gyms have, were the attendants. Then I realized I was in the middle of a traditional dance, and I heard claping and cheering.(i'm not afican btw, i'm white) Then I remember going home, and cleaning off cooked pork and ''bird claws'' they gave me as a gift. I ate a claw and then spit it out in the trash, and then my dream shifted to a huge park with yellow grass. I was with a handsome, long haired man who in my dream was my 'boyfriend'. We were in line and we realized we were the only Goth people in line, so we cut and got to the front, realizing the entrance only cost a dollar to my surprize. Then he carried me on his back and downhill to the carnival. Explination?

This is definitely odd, and i have no clue if I'm anywhere close. I noticed in your profile you twice said "black," once for music and again for eyeliner. A gym is a place where people come together for recreation, and a wedding is a union, so I think it has something to do with what you do for fun and you being part of something "black."However, you brought home a gift from this wedding that was not desirable: cooked pork and bird claws, which may represent some kind of black magic. When you ate it then spit it out to the trash, it's rejection of some aspects of this blackness that you're not happy to "bring home." So maybe in some ways you feel influences that you don't like. After rejecting them, you're transported to a much nicer place, again a park having to do with recreation. I think the long-haired man may have some religious meaning, I don't know if you're religious but it struck me that way, that you're rejecting the black side and embracing jesus, if you believe in that. And you're pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to get into this place together. He carries you, or supports you, on his back and down to a carnival. So many dreams here about carnivals. Again it's a place of recreation, but very noisy, chaotic, sometimes scary and absurd. Sort of like everyday life. So I think you're feeling some help through the chaos. Does any of that make sense?
