It's a little too late to plan this... some birth control pills make it so that you only have 4 periods a year - or none at all. But you would have had to have started them before now. Good luck!!

After your first three weeks are done, start your next pack and skip the sugar pills. I use the nuvaring and sometimes skip my periods when I don't feel like getting it. So basically you will take the last birth control pills of the pack, then start on week 1 of the new pack on the day your bc pills run out.

YEP! You sure can! My OB/GYN even OFFERED it when I was getting married. Simply skip the "period" week of pills and go to your next pack of pills. Take that full week of pills then go BACK to the "period" pills from you previous pack. You should get your period on Monday or Tuesday, usually without fail! You may get a heavier period or experience more PMS symptoms, but it's worth it!

If you havent been on birth control for at least 6 months, skipping the sugar pills probably won't work. I tried to go this when i had been taking the pill for a few months and it didnt work, i still got a period, even though it was slightly weaker. If you have been on the pill for a shorter period of time, i recommend taking a very hot bath and sitting in it for awhile, this helps delay the period. Doing that and skipping the sugar pill should help you out for sure.
