I only have 2 bridesmaids in my wedding (that includes my maid of honor) So it's just us 3 girls, but due to their busy schedules neither has time before the wedding to get together for lunch, so I was wondering if it would be appropriate just to do a girls night at the movies? They don't seem to have the time for much else right now. I was thinking about taking them to the new movie "What happens in Vegas"Also, I purchased jewelery for them to wear the day of the wedding and I'd like to give it to them as a gift that night in order to throw them off about their personalized attendants gifts (which will be given to them at our rehearsal dinner.) I was thinking about setting it up so that the ticket guy hands them their ticket and their gift at the window?3rd part of my questions: What about evites....I'm all about etiquette, but I'm keeping this pretty casual. Should I send both and evite and mailed invitation?Thank you!!!

Wow! Love this idea! That's really creative about the ticket guy handing them their gift. I think with just two girls, a mailed invitation would be fun (since it sounds like you like doing this like that - I definitely do!). I think an Evite for only two girls isn't as necessary. Maybe going out for drinks or coffee/dessert afterwards might be fun too? Congrats on getting married and hope you all have a fun night!

That sounds like FUN - great idea ! (I don't know if I'd trust the ticket guy though - I'd do it myself) I think an evite is fine, since it's just 2 of them.

I think a movie night would be a lot of fun! And the idea of having the ticket give them their gift with their ticket is really nice! Evites are really cool, especially for people who are on the computer a lot. And since there will only be 3 of you I don't see it as a problem.

Heck yeah, I'm all about the informal, fun stuff! I'm helping my best friend plan all of her wedding stuff, and we're keeping it pretty casual and informal. It just seems to relieve some of the stress and make everything more fun. I would send out a cute invite though, it's always more special to get something other than a bill in the mail. I'd give them their gifts myself though, just keeping with casual, personal touch of things....

What a wonderful Idea!!!! I would just make up a couple of fun invites on your computer for them and mail it to them. I think they would enjoy that.
