Okay I am having a rather large wedding on a very tight budget. I have no choice because my fiance and I both have very large close families (his mom's from a family of 18 my mom's from a family of 16, we both are from families of 5). Finances are getting out of hand very quickly. So I have 4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, 4 ushers, and 4 hostesses. I also have 2 singers and a planner and director. I have to give all of these people gifts right? So I was wondering if you guys know anything inexpensive I can get for all of these people? I'm not too good to do homeade stuff, I can make them something. Any ideas? My idea of inexpensive is $20 a person.

I dont have a specific suggestion, but think functional. What's something that you can get everyone or make everyone that will be a good help to them in their lives. Maybe home decor such as picture frames, or a set of glasses or maybe even gift cards for a nice dinner....theres no bridal law that states you must purchase embroidered, personalized gifts....good luck...THINK INSIDE THE BOX!!! LOL

www.prshealeyinc.comPW:giftThere are great gift albums...the lowest I think is 25 bucks. you order and give it to them then they pick what ever gift they want. The price won't be listed on them the gifts all seem more costly than $25. With an order that size thought I could probably get a deal at like 5 for 80. I guess it depends on your idea of inexpensive too.

What is your idea of expensive? Some people it is different. I could really help more if I had an idea of how much you want to spend on gifts all together. You could maybe purchase your bridesmaids' shoes or jewelry. That is what my Uncle's wife did for us our jewelry and it wasn't the expensive kind, just something nice. Your groom should be the one purchasing the gifts for his groomsmen. Maybe you could get them cuff links.I haven't heard of a gift being mandatory for ushers, hostesses or the planner. You could tip the planner and the singers <---if your already paying them. You could also do baskets of fruit, bath gels and lotions, spa gift cards or any other gift card.Don't forget your flower girl and ring bearer. Just get them something fun.

When is your wedding? Since mother's day is coming up and father's day. You can find a lot of gifts/gift sets marked down at places like Walmart, sears, Jc Penney's, Walgreen's. If the wrap looks or says something about mother..take it out and place in a small gift bag or basket.Check places like Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret. They sometimes have items marked down even when they aren't have the semi- annual sales. Some times places like Pier 1 have great deals..for no reason.Do u have a discount drug store where you live? We have a place called Marc's that has great deals. If you have a Rite Aid Drugstore..check them..they have great markdowns..Check Macy's..great markdowns with extra discounts off.If you have a Gaberial Brothers near you...check them outSome gift Ideas:A Spa Basket- wash, loofa, salts, slippers, pedicure/ manicure sets, candles ( You dont have to put all that in there)A nice pair of wine glass, wineMovie Night- Buy snacks ( chips, candy, pop) and a 5 dollar Blockbuster Gift card..but in cute bag good for younger peopleA gift card to a favorite store/resturant of theirsThe jewelry for the ladies - check sales areas you can find great dealsTake something they like personally and use it to form their gift. example someone loves book..nice bookmark and gift card to book store..or a nice book the may enjoyFor the hostess, singers and ushers keep it simple..they dont normally get the same gifts as those in the wedding party. The planner and director I wouldnt give a gift to.

You only give gifts to those in/helping out with the wedding that you DONT pay. For ushers and hostesses, you can give a giftcard with a nice note of thanks. Groomsmen, go to thingsremembered.com and bridesmaids you can get a little care package- bath and body; your favorite lip gloss; VS gift card; jewelry; or a little tote with their initials. eBay has a lot of great stuff; the same stuff you see on other websites.

I'm not sure when you're wedding is, but if you go shopping right after Christmas you can get gift baskets from Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works for very cheap, or even cheaper than that is buying the products individually and making your own gift basket.

I made cute spa packages for my female attendants. Each had some bath items, chocolate, mini bottles of wine, and a few other goodies. I boxed them up in little white boxes and I used scrap booking decorations in my wedding colors to decorate the boxes. I also wrote each person a card telling them what I am thanking them for. It was around $20 for each box.I can't remember exactly what my husband gave the male attendants but it was gift bags with things he knew that the guys would like for the same cost.

You could get each of them a $20 gift certificate to a nice place. Or pay for the girls to get their nails done & the guys a round of golf before the wedding...Thats what im going to do. But it depends on what they like. Anyways I hope this helps Smile
