| One of my best friends from young adulthood, who was one of my bridesmaids a year and a half ago in my wedding, just got engaged.I moved across the country after my wedding and haven't seen her since, although we occasionally talk on the phone (like, a few times).I still love my friend, but it seems we've grown apart with time and distance and I don't want her to feel obligated to put me in her wedding party just b/c she was in mine.Do I say anything? What should I say?I mean, I DON'T want to be a bridesmaid really, b/c it wouldn't exactly make sense. We're not really best friends anymore... |

| Don't say anything. Wait and see if she asks you herself. If you mention it now and she wasn't planning on asking you then she may feel that you are indirectly hinting towards it and feel obligated because of that. |
