I saw a bubble machine for sale at the store and the pic on it was at on outside wedding? Has anyone used a bubble machine outside, where did they place it and what was the outcome? And the point?afterr the ceremony people are throwing birdseedOur wedding is in July. Also where would I put this at? At the beginning of the aisle, where the officiant is at and on a table or chair?

It's really pretty but it doesn't work if there is a lot of wind and some of the machines are noisy.

If there's a canopy &/or a wind block then the bubble machine could be a delightful contribution.I'd be concerned about tossing birdseed which could attract birds and their droppings. The other thing is that birdseed can be dangerous if it hits a wedding participant in the eye. Birdseed can germinate and cause unwanted growths in the garden. It would be like confetti inside a building (house of worship or city hall), very messy. Just some considerations.

Did you see it at Wal-Mart too! I saw one and we thought about using it on the dance floor after everyone eats. We changed our minds and thought it would be too g a y to have.

Bubble machines blow soap bubbles. They will stain and ruin silk clothing. Bubble machines are a terrible idea. The point of them is to create a fantasy landscape but it's not worth blowing soap into the eyes of children and the dresses of women!

I think it seems like a really romantic idea on paper, but in practice it would be very annoying. I think the first couple of minutes it would be impressive, but after that the constant bubbles might be distracting. I would also be concerned about the possible noise the machine might cause.

It's risky, just like the outdoor ceremony. Anything can happen that day and weather has a funny way of being bad on good days. So, if the garden is beautiful, you shouldn't need anything distracting going on. You need to make sure you have a back up plan when it rains.
