| Hello. My fiance and I are having a Superman themed wedding. We are currently looking for an afforadable cake topper with Superman and Lois Lane on it. So far we have found one at microdwarf.com for like $520 which is personalized to our faces, but I am not paying $520 for a cake topper when I only paid $300 for my dress on sale. So I was wondering if anyone knew a place to get just the figurine, we would like one with Superman holding a bride, but we'll be happy with anything at this point. We had also found some on e-bay but we did not like their design to pay $64.40 for them when all we wanted was the figurine. If could could answer our question we would really apprecate it. | maybe you can get a superman figurine and have a friend that can make a lois figure in clay for you if they can sculpt. or both. check the crafts stores for miniatures or ideas. maybe you can find such a figure construction and paint them yourself. good luck and happy nuptuals |

| Let me track down a friend of mine tonight, a fellow cake decorator, and find out for you-when they got married, she did a superhero (Iceman etc) cake for their wedding- I know they didn't spend a lot on the toppers because well she's not the kind of person who would fork 500 bucks out either lol. |

| can you use a superman and a separate bride and glue them together? maybe take a regular cake topper - remove the groom and replace him with a superman figure |

| Check at comic book stores in your area. Look for a small statue. They do make them in roughly the perfect size. I'd also pick up a copy of the Superman Wedding issue(s). You can get great ideas from a comic book cover. Wizard magazine often carries ads for places that will make them for you. Ask among the geeks! |

If you want it to be more personal, you could put and actual frosting picture on it with your faces in the face instead of theirs!  or you could make the toppers yourself, but that would be pretty hard! lol!!! |
