My colleague asked me to translate this letter into French. But I'm rusty!! Can someone proof-read this? I'm not going for a direct translation, more just the spirit of the thing. This is the English:Dear Sister in Law Firstly, thank you so very much for all your love and support since the wedding. I haven't been able to meet you yet, but I look forward to that day, and somehow think it will be very very soon.I compiled this little album for you to keep of your brother and I .. with our little family of course. Much love to you and your family,L.Translation:Ma chère belle-soeur,Premièrement, merci tellement de tout votre amitié et encouragement depuis notre mariage.

My fiancée says it looks good to her, but adds that she's also a bit rusty. (However, she was fluent.) She says the intention is there and that that will count in your favour.

No, the French translation is not right.

In your translation you have moved from formal French to the familiar form, unless you are talking about the global love and support given by the sister-in-law's family, not just by her. I have made the whole text consistent with it being her support and I have put the whole text in the affectionate form that would be used in France between relatives. If you did mean the whole family, the correct form is in brackets.
