| Congratulations! I did all my research on ewedding.com and also through several wedding books I borrowed from the library. The number one thing: what type of wedding? Formal, informal, casual? Once you have that, think of venues for ceremony and reception. Outdoors, indoors or at home? Different places or the same? Then think time of day--morning, afternoon, evening. Once you have those three, and have deposits down on whatever venue you decide on (REALLY important because everything depends on it!!!) you can consider colors, dresses, food and everything else. You can do all of this online. Good luck!!!! |

| There a lot of ways to plan a wedding and reception, depending on how detailed or not the event will be. Here are some lists that are printable and perhaps one will help you get started. They will at least give you some guidelines and some time lines so that you will feel less stressed.http://www.2.a-weddingday.com/weddingplanningchecklist.htmlhttp://www.wedalert.com/content/planning/http://www.weddingzone.net/p-plan01.htmhttp://weddings.about.com/blchecklist1.htmBest wishes! |
