| I am considering purchasing a nice his and hers set of Ralph Lauren towels and having them embroidered with a monogram logo, first letter, middle name and last for a couple's gift... would you like this is a present? Is it practical...( the couple requested towels in their gift registry _and by adding the initials do you think its worth it?thanks so much ! |

| It's cute. But, I don't think the monograms are really necessary.More then likely, the couple will be treating those towels like any other. I would. I know some people might display them in their bathroom, but I would only do that if they matched my bathroom decor. If they didn't match, I probably would just stuff them in the closet.I agree that the Ralph Lauren towels are nice!!! It's so nice to have good quality bath towels, but I don't think the monogram isn't all that practical. If you know the couple will be able to display them in their bathroom on a decorative towel rack, then this might be nice for them to have. |

| i have monogrammed towels. i like them.if the couple have two different first names than the logo will be different on each towel. i would stick with just the letter of their last name and make it fancy. |

| I would love to have this as a wedding gift here! I love the idea of having a first name letter on my towel! And its well worth it they will have it forever! I'm sure they would love it! |

It really depends on the couple; some people like it others don't think much of it. I received a set when I got married; saved then for when I got a house. When I looked at them again, they weren't nearly as grand as what they were a few years before. |

I think this is totally classy. It's something my New England-bred mother would pick out (and that's a good thing!). I would suggest buying the towels in the color requested in their registry, just to make sure they'll "go."Oh, and be careful when you design the monogram. My parents' names are Eileen and Tim, and their last name starts with an A. They received a monogrammed wedding gift that read "EAT" in fancy script... Oops! |

| I would want the towels I registered for on my registery, and I would not want them monogrammed. If they have more than one bathroom, they probably do not want monogrammed towels for their guest bathroom. If you really want to get something monogrammed, get them a throw/blanket. |
