| Call your doctor and ask. I am sure they get these questions all the time. You can probably take one out a week early and put a new one in, but I would double check with your doctor. |

| I was worried about this also. I am also on the NuvaRing, and I asked my gyno about it. I was surprised when she told me that many women don't take it out for the 4th week, they leave it in, then just switch to a new one for the new month, so they don't have periods at all! She said it's perfectly safe, but I would still ask your gyno in case you may have medical issues where you shouldn't do this. |

| If I remember correctly you would leave it in the week you are supposed to take it out...just call your doctor and ask to make sure. If you tell them the situtation they will be ok with it, as long as you don't have any medical situations they are concerned with...My doctor was very understanding of that same situation with me and was very supportive. |

| There is no medical reason why you need to have a period every month, so I'm sure you can just leave the ring in. Another option is to take it out early one month and then restart when you're having your period. I did that when I got married but I used the pill. I figured mine out about year in advance though, so it was easier. I actually didn't start taking the pill when I was supposed to, I waited a week. Obviously talk to your GYN about what's the best and safest for you. |

| You can leave the Nuvaring in for the full 4 weeks instead of 3. Say you usually take it out tuesdays...take it out the 4th tuesday instead of the 3rd. But in stead of leaving it out for a week place a new one in right away. Trust me its fine, i'm on the Nuva too and its safe as long as you arnt doing this every month. |

| I'm assuming this is like the pill, where you just skip the week of "blank pills" and keep taking your :active" pills (starting a new pack) hence not getting your period.If the NuvaRing works where you wear it for three weeks, then take it out the fourth week (and thus have your period) just leave it in during your honeymoon, and take it out for that fourth week when you get back. |

| Call your doc and ask if there's any reason you can't "stack" your rings. Back when I was on the ring I only let myself have a few periods a year by "stacking" or just skipping the period week. As long as your doc OKs it then you can keep stacking as long as you like! |

| I've been on the pill for a long time now, so I know exactly when I will have my period. I planned my wedding around my period! Sounds weird, but I'm glad I did it. I didn't have my period till the week after we came home from honeymooning. |
