A couple years, we are not together now though. That was my first engagement. There were lots of petty arguments which lead me to cheat, but I know that the abuse of those arguments is what lead me to that. So, I tend to go for a less absorbed female who is attractive with a little less attitude. I know because I am not really a cheater at heart.

We were dating about a year and a half b4 we got engaged(but weve known eachother ALONG time). We will be engaged for over a year b4 we gett married. We aren't married yet but plan on having a small wedding like 60 people tops. A garden wedding like comfy formal (but no jeans ant t-shirt at my wedding,Lol!). We will spend about 3,000 hopefully no more! So yeah that's all I can answer for now.

My fiance and I were dating 6 months. We are both in our late 40's and finally found true love with each other. We bought a house and live together, but haven't set a date yet.

He proposed on the 1 yr anniversary of our 1st date. We've been engaged for a year & we're getting married in 2 weeks which will be a total of 2 yrs together. We're getting married in Maui, Hawaii on the beach. The ceremony is $1200 & it comes with a coordinator, minister, photographer, 2 8x10's, 24 4x6's, and a DVD slideshow of all pics, fresh flower leis, a ukulele serenade, and a Hawaiian prayer & chant.Another couple is going with us but that's only because they were already going anyway so they just changed their dates. We're staying 5 nights at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel in an ocean front room. Our package comes with daily breakfast, 2 bottles of water per day, a picnic lunch & keepsake cooler, dinner for two on one night at the outdoor restaurant, an excursion of our choice (dinner cruise, surfing lessons, or Luau) and a 25 minute facial or massage for each of us.Total for airfare, hotel, car, and wedding is $5500. Of course we spent more between my dress, his attire, vacation clothes, our wedding rings, etc.I originally planned the ENTIRE wedding to be here in Southern California at a Lakeside restaurant with 50 guests but it was getting too stressful & too expensive. We were at around $10,000 and we still didn't have rings at the time, none of the dresses or accessories, no tuxes, etc. DJ was $1200, cake was $750 (stupid), florist was $1400, I could go on & on.Anyway, we canceled the whole thing. Hawaii here we come! I couldn't be happier!

We dated a year before he proposed. We waited a year before we got married. Our wedding was about 125 people. We had it at a country club, both ceremony and reception. It was fairly fancy but not over the top. The good part was that the country club was part of City property therefore we got a lesser rate than we would at a hotel or some fancy hall. We spent about $10,000 on our wedding and I think it was one of THE most beautiful weddings I've participated in. Not just because it was mine. It was just simple yet classy and it really was beautiful. I think it was very much worth it because I'll never get to repeat that moment again. We are still married going on 3 yrs. 8 months before our wedding we found out he had a daughter that a woman decided to keep secret. We stuck it out (no he didn't cheat) and she was a perfect flowergirl. :)We had our honeymoon in St. Thomas and oh my goodness, can I go back? Aww, I miss it so much! All-inclusive at the resort so we never even left. It was great!! And now we have a 19 month old son because he was a honeymoon baby. I love looking back at our wedding pictures and videos. And we always joke about doing it all over again |
