I really have had a great time planning my wedding throughout the entire process, especially the time spent with my Mom. We had a lot of great bonding time and even a few tears shed. So I loved all the planning and didn't have any bad or stressful moments up to this point. I just thought of this the other night while trying to get the last few things done on my invitations. Other than time spent with Mom, I really enjoyed making my invitations. So what has been your favorite part of planning? Also what has been your least favorite part?I loved the dress shopping but after 5 months and still not finding the one it started to wear on me a bit. My least favorite part was getting my fiance to get addresses for his huge family. That has been a task. Invites should be going out this week and I am still waiting on about 10 more addresses.Became Mrs. H- I totally agree about the DJ. So many people want to skimp on that, but that is the one thing everyone should splurge more on as well as the photos. A DJ can make or break a party. The money is worth it in my opinion. We actually just switched DJ's to one that has a lot more experience and had a lot of great reveiws.

my favorite part, chooseing the place with my fiance. We both agreed on a snowy place, that had pretty mountains (and we don't agree on a lot of things)my least favorite part, doing the budget, and invitations. the number of invites keeps changing, first he had 20 more than me, not i have 5 or 10 more than him. its so difficult to peg down an exact number.

most favorite...picking out the perfect dress. least favorite part......the wedding finally being over. My mom said that she actually felt a little bit depressed about it all being over. You work so hard planning it and it is all over in one evening.

My favorite part has defiantly been just spending time with my fiance (since we are planning a destination wedding we even get to travel to England together quite often, one three day weekend each month, which is great too) We get to have reasons for just spending long weekends alone together very frequently without seeming like we are blowing off friends or family.Honestly I don't have a least favorite part, I am very organized so there is no stress involved, and I like things like sending invites and doing seating charts, a lot of the stuff everyone tends to hate |

Now that I look back, my favorite part was picking out my dress with my sister and SIL. It was one of the first things I did and I had my dress for over a year...so it really felt special getting to finally wear the garment I was peeking at every month! The rest of it was stressful.....I wish I could go back and change a few things but, that's just like me to dwell on the past!! I honestly should have picked a different DJ, but tried to save money and it turned out all wrong. I kick myself for it everytime I think about it! Anyways....!!! My favorite part would be picking out my dress. My least favorite part was handling the guest list, seating chart and arguing with my mother about it!! She wanted to keep adding people to the list and squeezing in tables....and on the dance floor for heaven's sake!! That was awful...and thankfully never happened! We ended up having 120 people when we expected 130....so no tight squeeze while doing the "YMCA"!

Since I'm a retired baker who loves to cook my fav part was planning my menu and purchasing all the disposable tablewear (I had a small home buffet reception at my sister's afterwards, very immediate family, for 20, since both my guy & I are 50 somethings and had been married before).....oh, and ordering all my platters and rolls at the deli-I made all my own salads..oh, ordering the flowers (corsages & button holes for my guy, my son, my three daughters, my mom & my bouquet).....oh shopping with my mom & sister for my outfit....oh....planning the wedding cake since my second eldest girl learned cake decorating at my bakery she made the wedding cake.....oh.......planning our honeymoon week...oh.....lol I loved everything about it....good luck.

My favorite part has been spending time planning our wedding with my fiance. He is really, really into wedding planning so it's nice not to have the "typical" fiance that doesn't want to do anything with the planning. We have made every single suggestion and been to every single appointment (not wedding dress shopping but yes, even bridesmaid dress shopping) together. My least favorite part....guest list. I want a semi-small wedding which does not work with large families and lots of good friends. It has been hard trying to cut down without starting fueds.

I've loved the whole process, getting a chance to spend more time with my fiance', and discovering yet another facet of his personality. I especially enjoyed coming up with fun touches, researching traditions and making our own, incorporating our heritage (predominantly Cherokee and Irish on my part although I'm pretty much everything, and mainly Irish and German on his), DIYing, finding my dress, envisioning the day, planning with my sister and BMs (awesome girls, all)...The least favorite part of planning would be our first choice of venue trying to trick us into paying $7,000 more than promised despite the fact our entire budget is less than that, and my FSIL trying to take everything from our date-my dress, causing us to replan everything (kept the dress, muhahaha!). Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we love our new plans much more than the old...The stress at the time wasn't pleasant though.

the best part for me has been getting creative doing my own table decorations, invitations, programs, favours, the worst part has been feeling like the in laws just don't seem involved they don't ask about our wedding or seem interested to talk about it, makes me very grateful for my family they have done so much for us, even just having them to bounce ideas off helps so much

My favorite part is spending time with my mom and sister putting together favors and other things. Also, my sister and I are doing a real silly thing at the reception. Anyone see White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kay? Well there is a routine in there done by two sisters, and we are going to do that! It has been a blast practicing with her!! The least favorite thing is the planning as a whole, all the stress of wanting to get it right!! I get married in 2 days!!!
