Ok so this is my 2nd marraige.My first marriage my ex and I just happened to look at rings one day and he bought the one I liked. A week later (yes I was already wearing the ring and planning the wedding lol) we were at the park playing on the monkey bars. I was hanging upside down and he proposed to me lol. That lasted 11 years.So , my bf and I have been talking marriage pretty seriously and we have been ring shopping for 2-3 months now and tried on a ton of rings. We have picked out the ring but I have no idea when he is going to buy it or offically propose (I am thinking November when we are in Hawaii).....so what is your story?Excuse me for having a typo lol  ok STORY. |

| My fiance and I went to Seattle, WA to see Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds who were playing at the event Seeds of Compassion. On Saturday, my fiance suggested that we go to Pike's Place Market, buy lunch, and find a place on the water to have a picnic. I love both markets and picnics, so thought that was a wonderful idea. We bought lunch and set off towards the water to find a park. After setting up for lunch my fiance proposed a toast. He's kind of cute like that so I didn't think anything of it. My fiance us both, our love for one another....and our engagement!! He then proceeded to produce a ring he had been hiding in his pocket and ask me if I would marry him. I said "Yes. Of course."The cutest story I ever heard was a friend of a co-worker. Her sister was kind of against marriage and had been dating her boyfriend for like 9 years. One day she decided that maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to get married. The boyfriend didn't want her to change her mind so the next day he asked her to marry him. She said yes and wondered when they should do it. The boyfriend said two days in Hawaii. In 24 hours he had gotten his girlfriend two weeks off from work, planned their marriage and honeymoon in Hawaii, gotten tickets for them and their close family, and bought the ring. It was kind of cute. |

| Firs marriage: We were young and I was in college, he had his own buisness already. One night we got into a fight about what color drapes we were going to buy(we lived together in an apartment)and then he brought up how controlling I am and I said he was a jerk. And then he yells "Gabbie will you marry me?" and I yell "Yes!" and then we made out and he slipped on the ring. We married at Disney World the next year. That lasted 12 years and he died of cancer.With my recent and second marriage, we had already been talking about it. One night he took me to a beach and we went swimming. Suddenly, he hits agansit a wave and washed up on the beach. I didn't know it, but he was faking being hurt. I ran over to him and started screaming. I was suprised the life gaurds weren't doing anything. Then I said, "Let go of your side and let me see how bad your cut is." Then he let go and showed me a black velvet box and opened it and said "Gabrielle will you be my wife?" and I started to cry and said yes. Apparently he had arranged something with the lifegaurds!We've been married for 2 months July 6th!This is a cute one I heard on Delilah one night:A girl and her boyfriend were driving and a cop pulled him over. The cop asked for the boyfriend to get out of the car and when the boyfriend got out, he handcuffed him! The girl was so scared. Then the cop said "Jon has something he needs to tell you." So she gets out of the car and her boyfriend is down on his knees, and in his handcuffed hands he said "Will you marry me?" and she said "Yes!" Apparently he knew the cop and had arranged the whole thing! |

| He took me ring shopping, I picked one out and he bought it. He 'tried' to surprise me (I only say tried because I'm clever and figured out his plan ahead of time), and proposed while we were on a gondola, on the Grand Canal in Venice. For our 1 year engagement anniversary he wrote out his proposal speech and gave it to me as a keepsake! |

| me and my hubby talked about getting married for months, we went and looked at rings and i showed him the one i liked. then months and months and months went by. we planned a trip to europe because we had friends that are in the US Army that were stationed in Europe, so we went there for a vacation to visit them, then we went ot the eifel tower in paris and he proposed to me with the ring i had picked out! |
