Oh IF I lived in near Chicago I would do whatever to be married at the Cueno Museum.I fell in love with that place in My Best Friend's Wedding. Such a fantasy...a pink mansion.I know it's not in Chicago but still

It really depends on your budget, how many people you're inviting and if you want everything in the city or if you're willing to go out to the suburbs. I work at a restaurant that does weddings in the west suburbs, and our average price per person, including rental fees, tax and gratuity is about $100 per person. If you got the same meal at a comparable facility in the city, you'd be paying at least 30% more than that.

I live in Chicago and am having my wedding at Chateau Del Mar in Hickory Hills. http://www.chateaudelmar.com/ Its on 95th street right off of Roberts Rd. Its very beautiful inside and they have 3 different ballrooms seating 100 people all the way up to 600 people (I have the room that seats 600 people - its AMAZING!). Food- plates range from $30 a plate to $120 a plate. You can also try Chatea Buche in Alsip, IL. Its located on Cicero off of 115th Street. They have a beautiful outdoor facility but I was not impressed with the ballrooms (inside). http://www.chateaubusche.com/The Hilton in Oak Lawn is great too. We are staying there the night of our wedding. But they have Ballrooms too http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/OALHIHF-Hilton-Oak-Lawn-Illinois/index.doI hope that helps!Good luck!

well it depends on your budget. I found some great places on line. Silverlake Country Club in Orland park, Patrick C Haley Mansion in Joliet, CD & Me in Frankfort, Try going to www.theknot.com and looking for reception sites in the chicago area. you can look also by price. Goodluck
