Not that I know of, even if you started birth control it would take a while to kick in, that's a really short time. So I don't think you are really going to be able to stop it.Sorry, good luck though!

My sister claims that she's had sex with a tampon in, though I wouldn't suggest it without consulting a doctor & perhaps your soon to be husband first. Congratulations & good luck!

No, I'm afraid not. You can have sex whilst on your period but personally I don't like it because it feels very uncomfortable for me.

How safe is it to purposely miss your period be skipping the non active pills and starting a fresh pack? I ask because I am getting married in 7 weeks and I worked out that I am supposed to have my period the week of my wedding and I don't want my period on my wedding night.Additional Details9 hours agoThank you. Thats what I'll do then. I have skipped it before but my fiance tells me off saying ''it can't be good for your body'' He's hearts in the right place lol.It works best if you are on a monophasic pill where all the pills are the same dose.Basically, there is no medical reason to actually have a period at all when you are on hormonal birth control - it was part of the marketing when they first designed it - to make it mimic a natural cycle. There's nothing natural about your cycle when you are on the pill. It's completely artificial. They've even brought out a new pill that means you don't have to have any periods at all - it's just a low dose pill, like all the others, same as Seasonale etc. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArTeKSPC6xcbnYUr32iJ7ETZxQt.;_ylv=3?qid=20080828203424AA3RDqb

There really isnt unless you are already on birth control pills....but I suggest for your honeymoon, use the shower if you know what I mean, but you may want to mention it to your soon to be husband before you two do anything, some guys are grossed out and wont do anything because of your period but some guys dont care.

There is a cup type thing that you can wear during your period .. it fits inside you and u can still have sex with this in.. you do have to empty it though.. I forget what it is called. .. Unfortunately though you can't stop your period.. try taking Ibuprofen it will help keep it light and stay away from caffeine.
