Try being more romantic. Why not ask her if intimacy hurts her menopause does cause vaginal dryness and pain. Try to be understanding and offer her to go to the doctors to help her treat the vaginal pain possibly. If you consider the possiblity it may solve

Maybe you're just not doing it for her anymore. Try something different. The old stuff just isn't working anymore. To her it's probably boring. Cheating is a typical male answer. If I can't get sex out of my wife, I'll get it out of someone else. So Typical. You think that, and you'll play right into her hands. Women know when men cheat. You'll lose more than just her, if you do so. Those urges will get cost alot if you go through with it. Just keep it in your pants, until you can get it in the Mrs.

I am currently working through a similar situation. Our children are 21 yrs and 16 yrs and we have been married for 22 years. I am 41 and so is my wife. My wife said she wasn't happy and walked out six months ago. When she was scheduled to file for divorce she did not go through with it. This started conversations about what we both want and we are in counseling trying to reconcile. My point is my wife made the decision that our family was what matters most and she is trying to fix the lack of sex situation. It is not hormonal, It is not physical and it is not something you are doing wrong. It is her and issues concerning sex that you two as a couple need to deal with. If your wife truly loves you you can work with her and a counselor to fix it. Both of you have to make a comittment to see this through for it to be successful. If she is willing to work on it don't give up. Two many people take the easy way out when it gets difficult
