| She probably means 24 kt gold, not a 24 kt diamond. One...it would cost in the millions and two...it would be about the size of a baseball. |

| A 24 Karat diamond would weigh 4.8 gramsIt is very unlikely such a diamond that large would be mounted on a ring.More likely the reference was to the quality of the gold used for the ring. In Gold, karat refers to purity. 24 karat gold is 100% gold, whereas 14 karat gold is like 56 or 58%. |
