| I will be getting a new wedding band for our 1 yr ann. I can't decide what I would like better though... a channel set band with princess cut diamonds OOOORRRR a channel set band with baguettes. My ring is a 1.5 ct 3 stone princess cut. I think the princess band would look good with it, but... I really like baguettes. What do you guys think? Which one would look better or enhance the look of my engagement ring?Thanks to everyone :)One reason I am a little bit more on the baguette side is because I am afraid that the princess diamonds will get dirty easy... i have found this to be true with my engagement ring ( i think because of the surface of the diamonds being completely flat) So I clean it often, no big deal, but since the band will have smaller diamonds I thought this could be a problem. Anyone know if baguettes stay pretty clean or do they dirty easy too? |

| Lucky you! I vote for the baguettes.What are you going to do for your 10th anniversary - which is when the diamond industry says you're supposed to get a ring like you describe? |

| anything but Baguettes. Oh I am so not a baguette fan at all. I'd definatley go with the princess cut diamonds. Princess cut are always gorgeous and classy and beautiful. Especially if your engagement ring is a princess cut. Don't mix the baguettes into that at all. lol |

| Both get show dirt easily. I like baguettes, but like I said, they too show dirt and lotions very easily. You would have to clean it just about every other day, to stay nice and beautiful. |

| You need to try the rings on together and make a decision based on that. Recommend you take a friend and have her try them on also, so you can see them from a different direction. Know it sounds crazy but it really can make a difference in your choice. |
