| I don't wear dresses and I wear a suit. Even if you are a girl you could still wear a trouser suit. |

| A pretty formal top with a cute skirt or a trouser will do. Add accessories and decent shoes and do something with your hair so people won;t notice if you aren't 'formal' enoughi hope that helps *_* |

| I have the same issue with a wedding I have to go to in Oct.! Fortunately, I have a very nice pants suit, it's a little too dressy for work, and with the right accessories will look just fine for a wedding. Look for something similar in your local stores, make sure you ask yourself, if you would wear it to work, then it's probably not dressy enough if you would. Don't forget to accessorize, that will lift anything you wear. |

| something tidy and that fits the occasion - hot pants at a gay wedding is fine, but a woman dressed in a smart trouser/jacket outfit is most suitable for a wedding ( unless the bride is screaming for a dress - in that case, a blue demin boiler suit... lol.. j/k)Dress nice, dress comfortable - try to get in the middle of those.or if you are a guy, wear a dark blue sports jacket at least... lol (oh, and undies) |

| if you know the colour coordination of it all, then stick with it, if it is blue for instance, nice blue pants, preferably not jeans, nice blue top, shirt, blue shoes, high heels if preferred, and so on. |

| I am not a "dressy" person either and normally for a wedding I would wear a nice pair of trousers and team it up with a corset top (for a bit of glam)Saying that, I was at a wedding over the summer and broke with all tradition and wore a dress... I felt a bit weird at first but so many people kept telling me how lovely I looked I soon relaxed into it... so maybe shocking people can be a good thing. |
