For a wedding reception for 130 people? They will be paying for the meat. They want grilled chicken strips (4/person) and beef tenderloin (4oz./person). Do you think $250 is a reasonable fee to cook this and deliver it to the wedding reception? They do not require any of my chafing dishes nor any condiments, etc. The only requirement for me is to cook the meat and deliver to a location about 20 miles away.

$1.30 per person for you to prepare and transport is a bargain.

Catering for a party of this size would start at $300 just for appetizers. I would charge at least $4 per pound of meat.

listen to me you when someone says to you ill buy the beef and you cook and deliver you will get the worst of it if you are into catering for example you do not allow this you buy food prepare and deliver itif they do not like it then let them move on you need to calcualte the cost of food and x that price by 3 and since you have to deliver the product you x by 4 and that is the price cost of product x 4 and i mean every ingredient you use must be x by 4 otherwise do not do it trust me this is my business for 25 years
