| First of all the marrying couple have to verify whether they were astrologically balance to each other and have to choose a good day and good time for the marriage.it's called ( NAKATHER) then the day comes at bride's home they make shrine and the couple up on there starts the rituals by a adult person like breaking a coconut or attaching couples two finger with a thread pouring water in to it and saying Buddhist prayers (PIRITH) and giving gifts to both parents so all this last about one hour time!! I thinks this help you to see how is a Buddhist marriage |
