I got married this year to my Turkish Husband in Turkey, however there was a lot of my friends and family that could not make it. So we would like to have wedding party over here with those that could not make it.I don't really just want a party i would like to wear my dress again and have our ring blessed with a non religious blessing as we are both different religions.Anyone have any ideas?

A "non religious blessing " sounds impossible. Just forgo it if it's going to cause problems.

You really cannot repeat the wedding, after all, you're already married. Sometimes we make decisions and have to live with them.If you wanted to have a wedding with a dress, family and all the trimmings you should have dome that. There are no do-overs for weddings, regardless of what cincy minister says, sorry.I would suggest hosting a reception back here in the states and then showing the video (if there is one) of the wedding ceremony that already took place. If you select a venue that matches the formality of your wedding dress then go ahead and wear the dress to the reception. Have the wedding photo album handy to display to guests. You could have a blessing of the marriage, sure, but that is not a wedding and should not appear as one. When getting advice from "ministers" check to see where they got their license and schooling before following them. Anyone can become a wedding minister and obtain a license online.

A friend's wedding that I attended recently had a "ring warming" ceremony, where they had the rings passed around to the guests, who held the rings in their hands and basically sent the bride and groom good thoughts. It was done individually and silently, as the groom's mother read a speech she wrote about what rings mean. That way, people can think a quick prayer over your rings, or not.
