i am trying to have a unique dress and i was wondering would that be too much for a church setting. i want to add my own style but i dont want it to be offensive.

yes? why don't you make the slit less revealing and show a little bit more of your back or something? <<shrugs>> good luck. i'm sure whatever you wear will be great--it's your wedding!

Definitely too revealing. especially for a church. Sorry. Try adding your own style with accessories. Remember, it's the couple's day so you don't want to take attention away from them.

For a church wedding it would be totally inappropriate. As the bride you're suppose to look pure and sexy at the same time. Nothing overt.....be subtle about it.

If you are going to be in a church setting I can imagine you getting lots of dirty looks with a thigh slit. Just remember that there are lots of ways to be creative and unique without showing skin. Have you thought of getting the dress tailored to have a lower slit?
