| my boyfriend will be getting me a promise ring that promises we will stay together. i am getting it in a couple days.. on our 1 year of dating anniversary.. and what finger do you usually wear those on? wedding finger? or right ring finger? thanks so much in advance!! |

| Usually it goes on your left ring finger. (where your engagement ring would go) But you can wear it where ever you feel comfortable with it |

| Ring finger of the left hand is appropriate. When he does give you an engagement ring, you can move the promise ring to your right hand to wear (or keep to someday give you your daughter on her 16th birthday or something). |

| I wore & still wear it when I don't have my engagment ring on, on my left hand ring finger. When he places your engagement ring on he should take it off place your engagement ring on. You can continue to wear it on your right hand ring finger if you like though, I do this when I'm in public. Good Luck and congratulations |

| I wore mine on my ring finger. I think it is suppose to be your right but i never wore mine there. neither did my husband when i bought him one. |
