I have nothing against people doing this. I think it's great but me, NO WAY. My fiance would probably pick chartreuse and and orange for the wedding making it look like a giant crossing guard vest. lol. He just doesn't have a good sense for that kind of thing. now if he had help from my family or a friend of mine then sure. Although, I do think I would miss the opportunity to plan it myself.

HA! Great question. I DID let my man plan the wedding day. It was phenomenal - really took a load of my shoulders. Of course, I picked my own dress and he did not see if before the wedding day, but other than that, it was all him. He is a very creative and organized person, and party planning is right up his alley, so I let him run with it. He chose the venue, the menu and did a LOT of the work. he even ordered the cake without me ever seeing or tasting. That was a NICE surprise.I know not all women could give up control like that, but for me, I took over on the things that were REALLY important to me, and let him do all the footwork. It was great, and he put together a truly beautiful event. I am so blessed to have him.

I wouldn't, but that's just because I'm one of those girls who has dreamed about planning her wedding all her life. When I find him, He will TOTALLY have a ton of say in what goes on, it is his wedding too Y'know? but I honestly think that most guys just want to show up, take their vows and be done with it, ...Weddings are kind of scary ordeals for men I think.

Actually, I'd probably love whatever my guy came up with, as long as I got to wear a dress of some sort. I wouldn't even have to pick the dress! He's a geek, but his choices in foods, colors, and even when it comes to my wardrobe has always surprised me by its taste and (sometimes) elegance. I'd LOVE to know what he'd pick out for me.My mother would flip, however. She's already starting to be a bit controlling over what I want to wear, even though she said she wouldn't be. His mum would just look at me and say, "Are you SURE you want him to? Okay then."We're planning the wedding together in retrospect. My dress is the only thing he doesn't know about or get an opinion in.

I want to say yes because I trust him implicitly but.... do you know I just cant. I don't want anyone else to do it!! Besides which we are planning our wedding at the moment and he is soooo slow at making decisions that I would be waiting forever!!

It is his day to, so I think he should be strongly in the planning, if not making some of the plans. But both - bride and groom should know all the plans - no surprises on the weding day for either.

Only when Hell freezes over. And especially not if it's just him and his best friend planning it. He'd have me showing up in a camouflage dress with an orange hunting vest over it, carrying a shot gun instead of a bouquet. NO NO NO...lol.
