My entire wedding isn't green, mostly because my fiancé and I don't have the budget to do so. It gets really expensive quickly and the place I live doesn't have great access to enviromentally friendly products as is.I've been trying to find recyclable wedding invites (not just recycled, but recyclable) online, but it seems almost all of the invites I have found are around $3-5 per invite, which I just can't afford. I'm looking for an invite that's around $1, with envelopes included. I can possibly do printing myself if need be.I've found the following sites:http://www.twistedlimbpaper.com/http://www.invitationsbydawn.com/I love their products, but TLP doesn't have an EXACT price listed on their website, and IBD doesn't seem to be recycable, just recycled. IBD is also just a tad above my price range. Can anyone help me? Whether you point me to a site or a specific invitation (wedding colors are fern, ivory, and champagne) I'd appreciate the help!Websites I've found expensive or undesirable:http://www.earthinvitations.com/http://www.invitesite.com/http://www.formal-invitations.com/ (decent price, sketchy ordering)http://www.sealandsend.net/I love the idea of plantable paper, but they're probably some of the most expensive invitations out there. I'd make it myself, but then it wouldn't go through my printer.I may have to just go with "recycled" at this rate. I don't want to increase my budget here because it takes away from other areas of the wedding. We're doing a donation to an enviromental society as the favor, so I guess we're helping in that way.

I used this one:www.invitationconsultants.comNot all of their designs are recycled paper or inexpensive, but some are, especially those on sale. There are also craft stores like AC Moore and Michaels that sell print-your-own invitation kits that are recycled paper and very inexpensive.

Hi don't panic! we all want to be a little greener in our weddings. I made my own invitations usuing recycled papers ( and they're gorgeous quality) i could make some up for you for £1 each that comes to just under $2 so its even cheaper than you thought! I also did my own order of service, save the date cards, rsvp cards and table menus. I can do all of this for you too and it's all made from sustainable resources and is recyclable.
