Jennifer Voss with Voss Photography from Tulsa,OK charged me $850 for a package with unlimited amount of photos, engagement session,11 X 16 mounted and a photo album. I got my wedding pictures back 2 months after my wedding and was just very upset. I paid for quality which is not what I got. I mentioned to her how upset I was and she began to tell me that her camera messed up and that she had to send it in to get repaired. I don't even think she was going to tell me something went wrong during the wedding ceremony. The pictures before the wedding ceremony are amazing but,the one's with family friends. wedding party, and my husband & I are blury, dark, & distorted pictures. I asked for a refund of my money and basically she responded saying that she did her job. Someone please help me. Should I contact a lawyer because this is totally unexceptiable. A picture is worth a thousand words and with this picture's they look like they were taken with a disposable camera.

Save a bit of money and take her to small claims court. The court will for SURE rule in your favor. She did her job unacceptably. And, sad to say, the pictures prove it. Just remember to bring in every piece of documentation (be very, very prepared; the court will notice) including contract and photos.Good luck.

WoW! Only $850 and you were supposed to get all that? THat would be an absolute STEAL around here. I paid twice that amount and didn't get anywhere near as much. That aside... she did not perform her end of her contract. Take her to People's Court or Judge Judy. It'll be fun and you would probably win!

To be honest $850 isn't very much for a photographer so you necessarily didn't "pay for quality." Maybe it's just the area I'm in but most starting rates I'm seeing are between 1,500 to 2,000 and to get the unlimited photos on a disc like you did is an additional 400-800 on average. Anyway, like already mention you can file a complaint with the BBB and/or take her to small claims court. It might be helpful to you to mention to her you're going to do this since she might decide then to refund at least some of the $. It's possible that the photos can be retouched so maybe you could ask her to pay for that or to perform that service for free (if she normally offers it). No matter what:1. if her equipment was malfunctioning she should have noticed at that time and took care of it, it's in my experience that most pros carry at least 2 cameras with them in case of situations like this2. she didn't "do her job" if you're not happy with the end result

File a claim I would get the money you paid, any negatives so you can try to salvage any memories, dry cleaning for your dress, tux rental, and for retakes. Go to them Jennifer Voss with Voss Photography from Tulsa,OK and continue to demand your money back. Have a lawyer contact her too! Document everything!

First ask for a partial refund like half if half the photos are bad and you keep the photos. You said the photos before the wedding were amazing. If she won't bend then take her to small claims court. It doesn't cost very much and you might get something for it. She did not do her job because the photos are low quality. Can you get someone to photo shop the photos to lighten them up? I know you can't cure blurry.
