| Well I had trouble finding a reasonable photographer. Most places that I checked out were over $4000. I thought that was way too much. Some of those didn't even include albums etc. I called all my recent friends that got married and asked them for help, who they used, prices. Ended up my friend got a really good deal and her pictures were nice and so I called him up. I am only paying around $1600 for all day coverage, album, all my proofs and a copyright CD. CD was a must for me because I like to scrapbook. Just don't settle for whatever, keep looking! Hope this helps. |

| For 6 hours of candid and formal photography and a DVD of all shots (not copyrighted), we paid $1600. Additional time was $100 an hour. This was a negotiated rate. Advertised packages started at $2500 (they all included prints and we did not get any) and up with additional time at $150/hour. This was in central IL, area population around 200,000. Our photographers were fantastic. I was happy with the price and what we received. In that 6 hours we did pictures before ceremony (getting ready and couple/family shots), ceremony shots, and the reception up til the first dance. |
