M & M's!! I got married last year (small, ourdoor wedding) and we gave M & M's in the wedding colors--we had the date put on one set of colors and our names on the other set of colors. Great and unusual wedding gift. Don't know that they would work great if you were having a formal wedding, though.

Try promopensforless.com. I'm getting married on Nov 17th and for my wedding I personalized pens. They come in a variety of colors and you can pretty much personalize them with whatever you want the only thing is that only come in quantities of 150 but I bought 300 and only paid like .39 cents a pen.

They may be a bit pricey but these are awesome centerpieces and favors combined into one:http://www.wanderfuls.com/http://www.sophiesfavors.com/http://www.favorideas.com/http://www.beforetheidos.com/index.htmlAnd I know you didn't ask for it, but here is an excellent site for groomsmen gifts as well:http://www.mygroomsmengifts.com/?utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=cpc

This is what I'm doing...http://www.bridesvillage.com/cinderella-castle-candle-favors.html You can't beat $1.35 per favor-- already wrapped & free shipping. This company is AWESOME too! TIP--if you go the M&M route....go to your local bulk food store--most carry candy covered chocolates in a wide variety of colors....w/o all the extra $$$ (& shipping). I'm doing little slippers & the chocolates wrapped in tulle for my shower. :)The 99 cent favor company sucks! Unprofessional!EDIT--I LOVE the ruby red slipper thing! Awe, see that's what makes a Wedding special...unique touches! GO YOU! |

I seem to find the best deals when I don't use those kinds of websites. I also only seem to find the ones with the junk nobody wants like the 1'' plastic picture frames. Online our caramel apples were $5 each for the super basic one with just caramel. At the candy shop downtown we are getting them for $1.75 each and that includes their individual cellophane wrappers, her putting on the ribbon (I provide with nametags), nuts, and regular sized apples instead of small ones.

marylandchina.com...the most beautiful porcelain china favors on the net. You can get trinket boxes, candy dishes for under $3.00. They have more expensive, but I purchased 25 of a trinket box #5029 for $2.50 for a special birthday party and they are just gorgeous. The porcelain finish is so fine. Speak to Ashley if you want more information. This site is great. For boxes, try waylopack.com. They have white boxes for $.33 cents a piece #555W. They have all sizes. Maryland China does not provide you with white boxes.

I bought my boxes from The Favour Store which is an Ebay shop. They came flat packed and we filled them with good quality chocolates, we tied them with ribbon to look like a present and added a silver hart shape tag, they looked very cute and did not cost a fortune, I always feel sad when favours are discarded at weddings and felt that I did not want to spend a lot of money on something that would get thrown away. I spent the money on buying good quality chocolates to go in them, but the boxes themselves were not expensive.
